Seek Out The Lord's Voice
Sometimes seeking out the Lord's voice can feel like crying out into an empty void. We feel distant and alone. But perhaps it's worth asking yourself if He's not answering or if you're not listening? The Lord can, and does, speak to us in a number of ways all the time. We need to be keyed into his voice in order to hear Him. 💛
Meet the Team: Shannen
Hi! 👋🏼 I'm Shannen, the woman behind the captions! 💬 I passionately believe that sharing our stories and experiences with each other is one of the greatest ways to connect and grow in our faith together. Working with The Well and being a part of this incredible community of women is an immense honour. The Well Practice changed my life and my relationship with Christ in the best way. I want to see more women come to know Jesus on a tangible level.
Who You Are vs. Whose You Are
When we mislabel God’s grace and blessings as self-made earnings we raise ourselves above Him. We take credit for something that is not our doing but His. We misunderstand who He is and whose we are. This story, your story, isn’t about you but it is all about to whom you belong. And it is to Him that all credit and praise are due.
Live a Life of Kindness
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. // Galatians 6:9-10 ESV Lord, may we commit each day to living the life of kindness that you demonstrated for us. May we not grow weary but be ignited with a passion to showcase your love and kindness to a world that desperately needs it. 🙏

How can we be obedient to Christ when we're too busy to hear his voice? 🔊 Busyness is not a purpose. Busyness is not a place of thriving. Busyness is a distraction. Busyness is dangerous to the soul and body. Rearrange your calendar around Jesus. Aim at living a life that is heavenly not hectic.✨
Week 10 of the Well Practice: Take Up Your Cross
Following Jesus isn't easy. It takes courage, dedication, and sacrifice. It's a journey that will have its ups and downs but it is so worth it. Choosing Jesus is a daily choice to be different, to reject the ways of the world and deny ourselves so that we can live a fully satisfied life in Jesus. 🤍
5 Tips to Identifying Green Flags
💚 New Blog! Click the link in our bio and give it a read! "Dating can be brutal, and there are a lot of people out there who aren't right for you. But while you're looking for red flags, noticing the "yikes" traits, and scanning someone for potential, don't forget to look for, take note of, and celebrate all of the good that they have to offer."
The Well Practice Conversation 9
Your place of pain can become your place of impact. What if our story could change the lives of others and show them the unfailing grace of God? Would we still shy away from it? Or would we shout it from the rooftops knowing that our truly incredible story may give someone the reassurance they need to make it through their own struggle and find God waiting for them at the end? There is strength in the struggle and purpose in the pain. Seek God and you will find them.
God delights in every detail of our lives.
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. // Psalm 37:23 (NLT) #bibleverse #bible #dailybibleverse #scripture #Godisinthedetails #Godisgood #candle #watch #ring #detail #details #quote #inspiration #inspo #christian #christianwomen #christianquote
We have a little task for you today. Whip out your Bible, or open up your app, and read Psalm 55. 📖 Lamenting is often something Christians, especially new Christians, struggle with. But the bible is filled with laments! When we lament properly it is a form of praise. Psalm 55 is a perfect example of this. David lays fear and pain before God and trusts he will be saved even if the saving isn't what he pictures. He fully trusts that God will come through for him. 🤍
TWP: Conversation 8
"We need to centre our lives on worshipping God both in public and in private." Does your love for God bleed out into the world around you? Are your actions public declarations that Christ is your saviour? It's one thing to worship the Lord in private, in the comfort of our own homes with a cup of coffee and a beautifully curated journal. But true worship is not a curated ideal. It is a raw passion, love, and commitment that encompasses every aspect of our lives.

Have you read your Bible today?
There are so many little habits that make up our day. From the moment we wake up we have a routine we automatically fall into. For me, it's wake up, put some coffee on, make my bed, open the curtains, and settle into my favorite spot on the couch to spend some time with the Lord. Every morning it's the same and I feel it to the very core of my soul when I skip my morning time with God. I crave his word. He has the answer to the cravings of your soul and those answers are laid out in his word.
The Well Practice: Life Abundant
There is no greater life than a life with Jesus. It sounds idyllic but it is more than a dream you hope for but resign yourself to never finding. A perfect, abundant, life is within your grasp. Living an abundant life means living every day with Christ. Living every day with the desire to know and love him more. 💕
He is perfect ✨
There is something really beautiful that happens when you give up trying to be perfect and start the work of becoming yourself. We are all imperfect women, and the crazy thing about that is it's no surprise to God! He chose to create you despite all the mistakes you would make, your fears, your doubts, your insecurities - your imperfections. He is perfect so you don't have to be + He doesn't make mistakes. 💗
As a Friend Sharpens a Friend
✨ NEW BLOG POST ✨ "Trust God. Let him take you on a wild drive blindfolded, knowing you will end up exactly where you are meant to be. Knowing that no matter what, the destination is good and perfect. God may be a wild lion, but he is also the greatest friend who is waiting to frolic in a field with you." 🌱 There is no greater friendship than the friendship you can have with God.
The Well Practice: Conversation 6
Jesus experienced the ultimate pain. We've all experienced pain and disappointment and we will continue to experience it. This week's conversation in The Well Practice is all about that pain. The pain we struggle through but are never alone in. 🤍 Talking about our greatest pains can be almost as painful as the original hurt. It takes strength and bravery to share your journey. Remember that you are brave. And most importantly remember that Jesus is with you through it all. 💗

Lies & Labels
Whether they're from you or from others. We all have labels and lies pinned to us. Labels we work so hard to erase. Lies we believe but hate. They become a false definition of who we think we are and how we see and interact with the world. This week in The Well Practice we learn how to shed those lies and replace them with the truth of who we are according to the one who created us.
