Beautiful Armenian maiden on a Qajar era post card from Jolfa-Isfahan. The stamp carries Naser al-Din Shah's (16 July 1831 – 1 May 1896) photo. It is dated 1896.Part of her head piece is called “benaris” which was a rare hand crafted “tashkinak” (handkerchief) from India. The pearls around her neck are called "Bojhoj", which used to be a wedding gift from the in-laws.
