Moms on the go are always taking care of everyone around them — it's also important that you take care of yourself. You aren't going to be able to keep up with work or your family if you don't designate some time for self-care. Even if it's only 15 to 20 minutes a day… Mamas, it’s important to make time for yourself. Relax in a bubble bath, do pilates or yoga, read, listen to a podcast, paint your toes. While the workout can't get as intense as a focussed gym session, I get it accomplished which is often the biggest obstacle on weekends. I've fought my purpose for decades, thinking that emerging myself in "health & fitness" was shallow, didn't use my hard earned education or would be seen as silly by those whose opinions I used to care about. Eating like a baby? Well maybe better phrased baby is eating like me! Here's one of my lunch staples that I make in a batch for 2-3 lunches this week (hardboiled egg + 2 hardboiled egg whites + 1/2 baked sweet potato + cherry tomatoes + baby spinach + salt & pepper + drizzle of olive oil). And here's baby's purées. Lunches, Hard Boiled Eggs, Egg Whites, Lunch, Sweet Potato, Baby Puree, Baby Spinach
