Preschool Art & Activities
After school invitation to create. I set up 5 invitations yesterday and this is the one she was most excited about. The setup was markers and a page of frames. She decided to fill each frame with a different emotion or attitude: kind, sad, angry, excited, and surprised. Props to the talented and creative @jeanvanthul for inspiring us with this prompt many moons ago.
This is a fun way to encourage creative thinking and imagination skills: make an abstract shape on paper with a piece of string. Trace an outline around the string. Look at it carefully for clues and decide what you could turn the shape into. Add more lines, patterns, and color to complete your picture.
