METTE DUEDAHL is a Danish designer, who graduated in 2011 from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Center for Glass and Ceramics, Bornholm. She is inspired by everyday life and needs, and aims to design innovative and honest objects where high use-value is combined with a simple aesthetic design.
TINA RATZER is a Danish designer with a degree in textile design and weaving from the Design School Kolding, Denmark. In 1999 Tina founded her own studio Ratzer, and since then her designs have been selected for several exhibitions, latest for the Crafts and Design Biennale in Rundetårn, Copenhagen. Tina has done the VARJO Rug for the Muuto collection Exhibitions, School Design, Textile Design, Copenhagen, Denmark, Weaving, The Selection

Pull won the Muuto Talent Award competition for design students in 2010. Its unique composition provides the lamp with a personality that is both organic and distinctively true to its Scandinavian design heritage. The party exposed, partly hidden cord connects the elements and provides the mechanism to adjust the position of the shade. The idea was to create a geometric rug with multiple layers and dimensions. Ergo the name-  VARJO, which is Finnish for shadow, this translates to the shadow effects that are created between the layers of the rug, as the darkest color block almost rises above the others, creating a three-dimensional expression. PUSH puts a new perspective on coffee making with a contemporary Nordic design – pushing the drinking of coffee to a higher level. The soft and pleasant feel of the stoneware is reflected in the rounded, smooth shape of the jug.
