Christian Church - Picher, OK
Picher Oklahoma is known as "the most toxic place in America". Years of unrestricted lead and zinc mining caused over 30% of the town's children to get lead poisoning and prompted the EPA to buy out the entire town. Only about fifteen residents chose to remain. This modern day ghost town is the most bizarre place I have ever been. Update: This church burned to the ground in March 2017. I am glad that I was able to get this photo.
