I invented the Internet. Okay, not really. But I did single-handedly establish and manage the University of Pittsburgh's social media presence during the early days of Facebook and Twitter as a News Representative in the Office of Public Affairs. I also led biannual social media workshops at the university as part of the HR Faculty and Staff Development Program. But don't worry -- I promise to never refer to myself as a "social media maven" or "guru."
