For the Love of Glass and Mosaics

I made this vase using blue stained glass and blue willow plates. It is grouted with a white sanded grout and is sealed using a silicone sealant. Almost everything about this mosaic vase is recycled. I bought the vase, the blue willow plates, and even the blue stained glass second hand. The only thing new, of course, is the grout and the adhesive. I love turning stuff that people consider junk into beautiful art.

A large terracotta flower pot (approx. 30cm) decorated in reclaimed crockery in classic blue and white. I can also make a similar design - just tell me the main colours you would like and I'll search my local charity shops for plates to break! The terracotta has been sealed so as well as being decorative the pots are also practical both indoors and outside. I would recommend keeping the plant in a plastic pot as well, rather than planting directly into the mosaic pot.
