Ca. 1910 Rookwood Faience
This set was rescued from the fireplace of a house that was being demolished. Tiles that have been installed are incredibly difficult to remove without damage, and generally not worth the effort. These were attached to large pieces of concrete and brick. I used a miter saw with a masonry blade to cut the concrete off of the tile. The top tile was broken in half and has been restored.
