Neutral colors were used to focus the spotlight on the paper products, with the space serving as the backdrop.

Haus M is a minimal residence located in Weinfelden, Switzerland, designed by Marazzi Reinhardt. The pavilion-like new building is embedded in the gentle topography of the garden. A path leads through the existing development to the volume, which is graduated in height. The base follows the course of the terrain with jumps of 30 centimeters each.

House in a Meadow is a minimal residence designed by Austria-based architects Hohengasser Wirnsberger Architects. The house stands in the meadow on the edge of buildings and agriculture. The chance to still be part of the landscape with the last building plot – i.e. to live in it – was decisive for the design. Similar to the well-known “hay harps”, the building stands in the landscape – characterized by a clear structure and “lightness”.

House B-T is a minimal residence located in Meilegem, Belgium, designed by GRAUX & BAEYENS. In order to create a comfortable old age for themselves in their own village, without having to move to a retirement home, the client decided to replace an old worn out house with a new two-family house. The idea is that the client lives in a “bungalow on the first floor” where everything is easily accessible with surrounding terraces that give a beautiful view of the landscape.

Nieby Crofters Cottage is a minimal cottage located on the baltic coast of Germany, designed by Jan Henrik Jansen and Marshall Blecher. The thatch roofed, brick cottage was originally built by tenant farmers or crofters from a nearby estate in the late 1800’s. It stands on a small triangular plot of land surrounded by barley fields and faces toward the geltinger birk nature reserve where wild horses and deer still live amongst the marshlands.

Villa BA is a minimal residence located in Bruges, Belgium, designed by gosseye + verbeke. The house fronts onto a smaller forest road with limited traffic, but a lot of hikers. To avoid direct view, the starting point of the design was an enclosed outdoor space that acts as a buffer between public and private.
