This vintage apron pattern is for a smock-style apron with a sweet tulip pocket. All edges are finished with fold-over bias tape. Pattern includes sizes S, M and L.

Vintage 40's Apron Pattern - Simplicity 2539 - Size Medium (18 - 20), Bust 36 - 38
From the envelope..."The apron front is cut in three sections and the skirt back is joined to the back belt. A band holds the back shoulder straps in place and the sash ends are gathered to the back at the belt. The apron front is trimmed with a convenient pocket.
