Happy Spring!

Hi all, it's Christi here with another spring card. Since moving I have found {and am STILL finding!} a bunch of craft and card making items that I'd forgotten all about. Some of it needs new homes and some of it needs to be used! I found this package of white flowers I had gotten from the Dollar Tree ages ago and that is how this card started! What I Used to Make my Card: 5" x 7" white card base DCWV 180 Floral Fair Cardstock Stack {available but not on the DCWV site} Tutti Rose Frame Die…

A Sweet Spring Card

Hi, I’m Sue SK of Ully Cat’s World and a new member of the Dies R Us Design Team. This sweet spring card is a z-fold card that when flat fits in an A2 (4 3/8 in x 5 ¾ in) envelope. It uses two dies – TuttiDesigns Easter Gate and PoppystampsHello Poe Script. 1. Cut three gates from white cardstock, saving the waste pieces from between the fence pickets to use as fence rail extensions. (See bottom left gate). 2. Trim arch and left flowers from gate/fence and save off-cuts from second die-cut…

Karen Burniston Whimsical Animals Pocket Letter for Dies R Us

Hi there, if you are a regular reader, you know I love the Karen Burniston animals. However, I have not played around with dressing them up using the Accessory packs. I designed a bunch of little animals and dressed them up. I decided a pocket letter was the best way to show them all off. Here is Professor Owl layered on a Tutti Nesting Stitched Oval. I created a little scene with the Karen Burniston Backyard Charms flower and snail dies. I added some fussy cut clouds from the background…

Happy Wednesday! I am thrilled to be back on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog Design Team; I rarely buy a stamp set unless I can get the matching dies and I love that Dies R Us carries so many different brands of product. Spring is FINALLY here in Colorado, sort of. We have been having 80 degree days, and then 60 degree days - still, it isn't rain or snow, so I'm a happy girl :) If you are a regular reader you know I am in love with Lawn Fawn and I pretty much buy every new thing they come out…

You Can Never Say Thank You Enough

Hi, I’m Sue SK of Ully Cat’s World and a new member of the Dies R Us Design Team. My mother told me that you can never say thank you enough, so this card is to say thank you to Dies R Us for inviting me to be part of their team. I really like using this Karen Burniston Swirls pattern plate die with background papers that I made with color pigments like Brusho Inks or Cosmic Shimmer – Pixie Powders. Picking a dark background makes the swirls stand out. The swirls die-cut is 4 ¼ inches x 5 ½…

Trust the Magic

Hello, Alicia posting a card today. I used several techniques to create this magical card. I used a new stamp offering from the store, Finnabair Trust the Magic. First, I used Distress Oxide ink and a stencil to create a subtle background. Then I stamped the image with black pigment ink and embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder-Bridal Tinsel. I know you expect that powder to create a subtle sparkle and it's there but when you use black ink to begin the effect is a bit different. Here's a…
