Bling on the Turkey!

Happy Thanksgiving, Alicia here today. I don't know about you but this holiday just won't be the same without the large gatherings for food and fellowship. I hope sending this card will brighten someone's holiday. At first glance it's a nice enough card with a neat cut away but wait for it... Wow! the Karen Burniston Pop n Swap die set really packs a punch. The top turkey is just fine but as he disappears the bottom turkey appears all blinged out with glitter and other specialty papers. The…

Blue Christmas

Hey there! It's Judy here with a Christmas card project created with 5 different die sets from Dies R Us. I have some beautiful patterned holiday themed paper and used one of them with floral corners as my jumping off point in designing this card. I also gathered some metallic card stock in blue and silver along with a plain white. I did my die cutting next. Hey Y'all

Hey y'all! Alicia with you today. You probably don't know this but I am originally from Georgia, so when I saw this word die set from Frantic Stamper I just had to have it. This sentiment paired with Karen Burniston's barn die and animals are the perfect combination. The barn pop up is one of the easiest assemblies from Karen Burniston without sacrificing the wow factor, pop ups bring. Here is the front of the card. I used the Karen Burniston Farm Edges on the front of the card adding one…

Candy Canes

Hello crafty friends, It's my turn at bat today, actually you don't want me batting, I'm terrible at sports, but I'm good at card making, so that's what I do and that's what I have for you today... a Christmas card featuring this fun Candy Canes die from Tutti. The die measures 2.85" x 4", so it makes a great focal point on a card. I die cut it twice from red glitter card stock for my slim card. I used Distress Oxide Ink and a Christmas word background stamp to create a background for my…

Christmas Joy

Hello Friends, Diane here to share with you my next Die R Us design team card. Christmas is coming up fast and it's time to get started on those cards, boxes and tags. Today I created a pretty Christmas "Joy" card in traditional Christmas colors. Christmas Joy Card Instructions: This card measures 5x7. Using the Creative Expressions dies by Sue Wilson, from the Gemini dies collection "Lyra", I place the die on the front right-hand side panel and ran it through my die cutting machine. Then…

Evergreen Reindeer Christmas Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm on a buffalo plaid kick lately. Last week was red, buffalo plaid. Today I'm showing you how I created a green, buffalo plaid Christmas card. The first thing I did was die cut the Memory Box Evergreen Reindeer from green, buffalo plaid paper. I was originally going to keep it as is, but I felt like the trees were a little lost so I cut it down to a square. Then I decided I wanted the deer to be a black silhouette so I colored in the deer with a black sharpie. The…

Christmas Ornament Using Non-Christmas Dies

Hello Crafty Friends! Amanda here and today, I am going to show you how I made a beautiful Christmas ornament using non-Christmas dies. In my family, handmade Christmas ornaments are a tradition. I have so many Christmas ornaments (almost all handmade) that I had to buy a rotating tree stand for my tree a couple years ago just to fit all my ornaments on the tree. Haha! Yet, I still make and collect more and more every year! I imagine, I will have to get a second tree pretty soon! Anyways…

Autumn is a Second Spring

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman back today sharing a paper pierced Fall card. Fall is by far by favorite time of year and I really enjoyed creating with this Autumn Window die. I die cut the Autumn Window from 5 different colors of cardstock as I wanted to have each element in specific colors. Using the Best Glue ever, I reassembled the scene by cutting apart the different colors. Once I recreated the scene, I adhered it to a panel of cream cardstock, then fussy cut around it so I had a…

Give Thanks

Hello Friends, Diane here to share with you a Thanksgiving or Autumn card using several wonderful die sets available at Dies R Us. For this card I used all solid color card stock making it easy to duplicate. My top folding white card base measures 6 1/4 X 5 1/2. I then cut piece of white card measuring 5 7/8 X 5 1/4. I cut a piece of metallic beige card measuring 5 5/8 X 5 and embossed it using an Anna Griffin embossing folder called Thistle Bouquet. Next, I cut the background die. I used…

Reindeer Scalloped Circle Frame Christmas Card

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I'm showing you how I created this simple, gold embossed Christmas card. I love gold embossing powder and the way it brings elegance to a card. The first thing I did was die cut the Memory Box Reindeer Scalloped Circle Frame and Yvonne Creations Merry Christmas Die from black cardstock. I don't see this Merry Christmas Die in the store right now, but Dies R Us has several that would work HERE. Next, I used a makeup blender brush and tapped the embossing ink over…
