Cute family wreath made out of canning lids

Ancestor Ornament - Vintage canning jar lid with photo of ancestors. You can embellish the lid so many ways and it makes a lovely frame for the picture. I used old jewelry, chandelier crystals, braided cording, sparkly bows, etc. I mounted the photo (which I scanned and printed on plain paper) on a large wooden button shape that I purchased at Michael's for 29 cents. That was easier than cutting out circles on my saw and the size was perfect for the jar lids.

I have done image transfer many times, but this is the first time I attempted to do a photo transfer onto glass. It is an easy and classic craft.
