Irish Coffee Recipe - Irish Coffee is an enjoyable hot drink with many variations. According to one story, it was invented in the early 1940s. One cold winter’s night an American Flying Boat came into the village of Foynes, in County Limerick, Ireland. The passengers and crew were frozen to their very bones. In the restaurant there, the chef served hot coffee after dinner, adding a shot of whiskey to each cup. Thus Irish coffee was born.

Italian Coffee - 2 cups whipping cream • 2 oz (60 ml) Galliano liqueur • 4 cups French roast coffee - In mixing bowl, combine whipping cream and Galliano liqueur. Mix until firm and set aside. Pour brewed French roast coffee into 4 heat-proof wine glasses. Top with liqueur mixture. Makes 4 servings.
